Mixed Media: Papier mache, found object, paint

The “Memory Tools” I made in 1999 fuse household items with constructed objects to both obscure and reveal an inner core of recognition. Cutlery, suggestions of utensils and containers are incorporated in their construction. I am examining pain and pleasure within the creature comforts, the rituals, of “home”. Working from the inside out, the objects are built from combinations of found objects encased in paper and rhoplex.
