The Red Head Gallery is pleased to announce that Get Noticed is back!
Get Noticed is our bi-annual exhibition of visual artists selected by two Toronto curators noted for actively raising the bar for Canada’s art world. Artists will be selected by Na’ama Freeman of NAMARA Projects and Erin Szikora, interim curator of the Doris McCarthy Gallery. The final, curated exhibition will be on view at the Red Head Gallery from December 4, 2024, to December 21, 2024, with an opening reception on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 5:30 - 8:00 pm to celebrate the artists.
Artists not yet represented by a commercial gallery are invited to be part of this career-enhancing event.
Artists are invited to submit a single work that is a strong example of their recent practice. Size limits apply. Two-dimensional works should not exceed seven feet in height by five feet in width. Artworks exceeding these dimensions will not be considered. Sculpture, installation and video-based submissions are accepted, subject to the availability of interior space. Video-based submissions will require the artist to provide the equipment necessary to show.
SUBMISSION FEE: $35 (non-refundable)
Each artist is invited to submit one artwork for consideration. Artists can submit up to 2 images of their work per submission, including details, alternate angles, etc. There is no hanging or installation fee if your work is accepted.

Images: 1 or 2 images of a single work for both 2D and 3D work, and two still images plus a web link (Youtube or Vimeo link) for video. Image format: jpeg, 2000 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi. Files must be named: GN_lastname_title.jpg
Artwork details: title, size, media and year.
Please note we will not accept submissions from artists located outside of Canada.
