Sharon Switzer is a Toronto-based artist and curator. She is the founder and Director of Art for Commuters which showcases the work of artists to over 1.3 million people on the TTC subway platform screens. Switzer has exhibited her video art in Canada and internationally since the early 1990’s, and is represented by Corkin Gallery in Toronto. Switzer holds an MFA from the University of Western Ontario, and is an alumna of the Canadian Film Centre’s Media Lab.
