Micaela González is a visual artist working in painting and collage. González is interested in the imaginative process of the artistic practice as a process capable of synthesizing the perceptible form of a thing and the concept we have of that thing. Her work explores individual beings, their ways of thinking and their forms of perception.

Micaela González holds a BFA in Film Production & Screenwriting from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her work has been exhibited and published in Canada, USA, Argentina, and Europe. González is a recent finalist for the international Celeste Prize and her work has been recently exhibited in the final exhibition at Assab One in Milan, Italy. She currently lives and works in Toronto, Ontario.
