Call For Submissions: INSOMNIA SALON SOIREE
September 30 - October 4, 2015

The Red Head Gallery is accepting submissions for the Insomnia Salon Soirée, our yearly salon show specially created for Toronto’s Nuit Blanche. The exhibition begins September 30th at noon, and culminates with Nuit Blanche on October 3rd, ending early in the morning of October 4th.

As part of the 401 Richmond St. West complex, thousands of visitors come through the Red Head Gallery each Nuit Blanche. We encourage new artists to be part of this exciting event. This year, in keeping with the original salon style, we are offering the opportunity to submit up to 3 small works, or 2 mid-sized works, or 1 large work. Each work will have a minimum of 5 inches of space around it.

Artworks must reflect the theme of Insomnia, as interpreted by the artist and must meet the aesthetic standards of the gallery. There are limitations on size and media (see Participating Artist Agreement).

SUBMISSION DEADLINE EXTENDED: Wednesday, September 23, 2015

Submissions will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. If accepted, work must be dropped off at the gallery no later than Saturday, September 26th between 12 noon and 5 pm, but can be delivered during gallery hours -12 noon ’til 5 pm, between Wednesday, September 23rd to Friday, September 25th. Artwork must be picked up no later than 12 noon on Sunday, October 4th.

ENTRY FEE: $50. (Payable through the Red Head Gallery Paypal account)
