Mark Isaac studied at Toronto's Three Schools of Art in the early 60's. Following formal studies in pottery and ceramic design at Alfred University N.Y., Isaac practiced art in both Paris and Israel. He returned to Canada in the mid-70's and became involved with The Western Front, an artist-run centre in Vancouver, where he developed his copy art. Since then almost all of his work has been generated through the photocopier. He returned to Toronto in the early 80's and continued to work as a print maker and painter.
