The Red Head Gallery is pleased to present, our Insomnia Salon Soiree, our yearly salon show specially created for Scotiabank’s Nuit Blanche. Artists from across Canada and the United States responded to our call. This always unique, always surprising group show, is not to be missed.

The theme of Insomnia has been openly interpreted by the artists to include restless eyes, the liminal spaces of dusk and dawn, and the exhaustion of sleeplessness.  Insomnia is a physical, cultural, and psychological state that favors the melancholic as easily as the ecstatic. 

The exhibition begins September 30th at noon, and culminates with Nuit Blanche's end on the morning of October 4th. As part of the 401 Richmond St. West complex, thousands of visitors come through the Red Head Gallery each Nuit Blanche. We hope to see you there!
